A Quick Visit

Last Monday night, the dad's dad called to say that he and two brothers were coming down to visit. It was so fun to see them and I still can't believe it had been 4 years! They were only able to stay a couple of hours but it was still fun to catch up and just spend time with family. I am amazed that D is all grown up now and the boy couldn't get over how tall Big J is! He even mentioned it to me again today. Too cute. Big J is so tall. The dad looked like "the runt" next to his siblings. One day it would be fun to get all the brothers in the same room. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later. Here are some pictures!

The Boy and Tee Ball

So the boy is loving tee ball. He does a great job too. He is too handsome in his uniform. Here are a few pictures to prove it!

Bug Eating at the Insectarium!

Although there isn't a picture of it, I did try some bugs. They didn't taste bad but the thought of it left a bad taste in my mouth! Maybe I could survive in the wild. Survivor here we come!

Insectarium

So we landed in New Orleans since our car was already waiting there for pick-up and decided to stay a few days. It rained and rained so we couldn't do much (and it was freezing) but we did manage to eat some fabulous New Orleans cuisine and also check out the Insectarium. We loved it there and we even ate some "delicious" bugs. We are looking forward to heading back to New Orleans once the weather is a little warmer.

More Hawaii!

Just another fabulous January day in Guam!

So the dad, the boy and I decided that a water balloon fight had to happen before we left the island. Here are some pictures from that madness. *NOTE* It is much more fun to throw the balloons than it is to fill them up and clean up all the broken pieces in the yard!

Hawaii

So on our adventure back to the mainland we stopped in Hawaii for a few days. The boy and I had lots of fun. We brought the dad to one of our favorite restaurants and to the pineapple plantation. We also played lots on the beach and in the pool and checked out the Arizona Memorial. Here are some pictures from the Arizona Memorial.

Getting Settled Again

So we are back online! We have finally settled in here in Florida and I finally have time to update the blog. We have LOTS of pictures to share. Some from the other day at T-ball and some from our adventures in Hawaii. We hope you enjoy them and look back here often for updates on our lives!
